Description:

Miconazole Nitrate is an imidazole antifungal agent, commonly applied topically to the skin or to mucous membranes to cure fungal infections, and a skin condition knows as pityriasis (a fungal infection that causes lightening or darkening of the skin). It works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a critical component of fungal cell membrane. It also has some limited antibacterial properties.
